Romtelecom Service Order System
Since August 2004 Sinoptix is developing and maintaining the Service Order system for the main Romanian telecom operator - Romtelecom. This Oracle application has a 2 Terabyte production database and is deployed into the operative departments of the company:
- Call centers
- Shops
- Sales and business support
- Billing Back Office
- Network work centers
- Technical Support
- Quality control
- Marketing
With more than 3000 concurrent users on peak time it is a critical application, with a large code base:
- 1000 tables, 600 client objects, 3000 server objects with more than 100.000 lines of code
- synchronous and asynchronous interfaces with Billing, Customer Activation, Remote Service, Dispatch, Fault Management, Dealers Management, …
