Romtelecom Service Order System

Since August 2004 Sinoptix is developing and maintaining the Service Order system for the main Romanian telecom operator - Romtelecom. This Oracle application has a 2 Terabyte production database and is deployed into the operative departments of the company:

  • Call centers
  • Shops
  • Sales and business support
  • Billing Back Office
  • Network work centers
  • Technical Support
  • Quality control
  • Marketing

With more than 3000 concurrent users on peak time it is a critical application, with a large code base:

  • 1000 tables, 600 client objects, 3000 server objects with more than 100.000 lines of code
  • synchronous and asynchronous interfaces with Billing, Customer Activation, Remote Service, Dispatch, Fault Management, Dealers Management, …
